This tough stretch was quite foreseeable.  Toughest part of schedule.  Add the injuries and….  Last night they lost for two main reasons:  1. Brewers hit mistakes.  Giants didn’t. 2. Giants played lousy defense.  

Not much margin against the best teams.  And right now, Brewers are as good a team as there  is in baseball.  Unfortunately Dodgers get them last weekend of season.  Brewers will simply be gettin* healthy, rested, etc. for playoffs.  Maybe Dodgers get Burnes and,or Woodruff.  Series is Oct 1-3.  NLDS starts Oct 7. If they want them to pitch on normal rotation. They could go Oct 1-2. But I suspect if either does, they will only go a few innings.  Just to stay sharp.

Course, it may not matter anyway….

Giants have 10 vs Pads. Who will be fighting for WC.  And don’t look know, but Snell is getting it together.  The worst possibility is the Giants in WC facing Snell.
