Watched a bit of Blake Snell vs the Dodgers. Unhittable. So he goes further than ever, 7 2/3. Oh my! goes the Padre staff, pitch count! Padres piss away the game late, very late (16 innings).

The Padres' real problem last night was that they got only one hit in the last 11 innings of the game. The Padres left 14 runners on base in extra innings (including 6 who were placed on second base to start the inning). The Dodgers issued 8 intentional walks in extra innings so that they could get at the hitters they wanted to face, and none of those hitters delivered a hit for the Padres.
