Is Stanford changing quarterback styles with the recruitment of Patu and Daniels?
From what I can tell in the videos (and Spring game for Patu), these two are more in the mold of Hogan: adequate passers with great athleticism and ability to manage the game, than that of Chryst, Burns, Costello, Mills, McKee (traditional NFL prototype arms and size)
The more obvious explanation is that they couldn't land their preferred QB whale, but is there some sense in the shift towards QBs with a chance to become great college players if not high NFL future picks?
