Of course both my kids' high school and my alma mater (SCU) were Jesuit, so maybe they treat tuition differently than educational institutions supported by other orders.

For example, take a look at https://www.bishopgorman.org/admissions/...assistance. When I was there the tuition was lots lower and the Parish contribution actually was about 50% of the tuition. Another example https://stannesea.org/admissions-2/group-5/. I never attended there, but I can say for sure they monitor these things LOTS closer than they did when most of the faculty were nuns. They were real cheap so it didn't matter much.  Not true now.
