a Taggert offer to a player in Miami (Central or Northwestern) iirc, and you may have inflated the ACT number. not sure if Harbs or staff had been through an admissions cycle yet.
on a more positive note, I recall Harbs going to bat for a player with lowish boards (not above low though) and supposedly asked for re-review twice on admissions decision. admissions evidently reversed after meeting young man, his family etc. young man graduated, later received his MBA while enjoying a long NFL career. Pro Bowl, Walter Payton Man of Year for team etc. good re-review from admissions.
