Ordinarily, I'd say "let's hope they can stave off Bowling Green and North Dakota State," but given Trey Lance and Carson Wentz hail from NDSU, I won't be so smug. But I do think Trey Lance had Power 5 offers to play other positions than QB. No power 5 offers for this kid other than Stanford.

Lance had no P5 offers. He turned any interest not in QB down immediately.

FWIW, I like Daniels' film. True dual-threat. Led comebacks in the GA 6A state championship 2 years in a row and an all-county lacrosse player too. Take him and go whale-hunting in 2023. Way better than a gap year.
