The tally will be fine. Stanford will lose a few women's sports that will get excluded, but not that many. Oddly, I think one could objectively say this was a very bad year for Stanford Athletics. The football team's wins can cover a lot of flaws, but many teams had sub-par seasons.
By my quick count, Stanford should get something around 1,435 after excluding 125 points from 3 sports. Florida will get above 1,300 if they win the CWS. They left points on the table when the #5 softball team lost as host of the Gainesville Regional.
I would guess a ~150 type spread between Stanford and Florida, as the #2 school, would make this one of the closer contests on record.
