For me, this isn't about the business decision to cut the sports. It's how it was communicated as a done deal, for financial reasons, etc. and how they university didn't welcome their stated reasons being challenged and never showed an interest in willing to work with a group who was looking to provide sufficient outside funding to preserve them. Not only unwilling, but obstructionist to their efforts.
