Here's the two-deep from Alabama:

I count the following among starters on offense and defense:
2 Freshmen (both on defense)
5 true sophomores (2 on offense and 3 on defense)
3 RS sophomores (2 on offense, 1 on defense)
2 true juniors (both on defense)
5 redshirt juniors (1 on offense, 4 on defense)
3 true seniors (all on offense)
3 redshirt seniors (all on offense)
Breaking that down in terms of years in the program:
First year: 2
Second year: 5
Third year: 5
Fourth year: 8
Fifth year: 3
In terms of redshirts:
11 players have redshirted
12 players have not redshirted
The equivalent numbers from Stanford:
First year: 0 (true freshmen)
Second year: 9 (5 true sophomores, 4 redshirt freshmen)
Third year: 4 (2 true juniors and 2 redshirt sophomores)
Fourth year: 7 (7 redshirt juniors)
Fifth year: 3
In terms of redshirts:
16 players have redshirted
7 players have not redshirted
The bottom line is that the distribution of experience is pretty similar between the two teams, relying on players in their second, third, and fourth years in the program. We redshirt more players, and don't have any true freshmen starting (but Alabama only has 2). But the difference is hardly striking. And now that players can play up to four games without losing their redshirt, a lot of our true sophomores have seen action.
