At 2pm, the actual number posted was 2055, with 87 new hospitalizations and 7 deaths.

Actually the 7 deaths are what was reported on Friday. SCC doesn't update deaths over the weekend and so I believe the Snapshot has a bug/feature where Sat&Sun "new" deaths remains whatever the value was on Fri.
But yeah, 2000+ new cases in a day, pretty crazy...
