The single biggest metric correlated to rate of increase ® for COVID-19 is distance away from home.  The further (collectively) we travel, the more COVID-19 spreads.  There was something to the SCC health ordinance asking people to quarantine if they travel more than 150 miles.  Sure, there is nothing magical about 150 miles, but you have to set a threshold somewhere.
