CELEBRITY CUTOUTS: Even without live fans, Stanford Stadium will not be completely empty in 2020. The Cardinal’s support system on gameday comes in the form of nearly 300 cardboard cutouts. Sections 112-114 are home to family members of Cardinal student-athletes and coaches. Section 123 features gridiron greats such as John Elway, Andrew Luck, Christian McCaffrey, Jim Plunkett, Richard Sherman and Bill Walsh. Coaching legends such as Tara VanDerveer and Mark Marquess and iconic athletes and Olympians such as Katie Ledecky, Mike Mussina, Kelley O’Hara and Tiger Woods can be found in section 124. Notable University alumni such as Sergey Brin, Chelsea Clinton, Herbert Hoover, Sandra Day O’Connor, Larry Page, Reese Witherspoon are cheering on the squad from sections 103, 122 and 124.

Did not know this was how it worked and am surprised they aren't taking donations to put more "fans'" cutouts in seats (I believe some other universities do this).
