The 7-day average was over 100,000 cases.  As noted, hospitalizations are close to the totals we saw at earlier peaks; the problem is that cases are still rising, and hospitalizations trail new diagnoses.  I expect we will hit records of hospitalizations next week.

At the first two peaks, the 7 day average was at about 32k and 70k. Now we have reached 107k  (according to worldometers.info) and there's no reason to believe we have peaked.

Now that the elections are over, can we all just wear masks and not do stupid stuff?
