I'm surprised this hasn't happened already.  We've known about the mink carrier population since March, I thought.

But did we know it they could infect humans, and worse, much much worse, we surely didn't know the virus could mutate in them and become less responsive to antibodies.  I figure that last one is what forced them into action.
