According to the URL it went live on the website on Monday, and was in print on Tuesday (election day).

I feel like our best shot at such things was gone once Trump defunded the CDC's China office(rs?).  Not that the origin is super important now that we have the genome.

The New York Times must feel confident in Biden's victory,which is looking good.

There is no way the piece would run before the election. I wonder how long the editors have been sitting on it.
