The bottom line is that among major sports, baseball (and hockey, which has always struggled) has the biggest challenges going forward.

While 50% of all adults are avid or casual MLB fans, only 32% of Gen Z is, by far the biggest drop-off between adult fans and Gen Z fans.  In fact, most major sports leagues will see a drop-off in interest, with the exception of the NBA and eSports.

I can identify; it's been years since I've watched a baseball game, and decades since I've watched one on TV, and growing up, I followed baseball  most closely (it helped that it was the only major sport available on TV in Venezuela, where i grew up).
