More cases in Notre Dame.  Lucky for them, they have a bye week coming up, so you might expect those players to be cleared by their next game.

They probably should have gone the Clemson/Alabama route and tried to get everyone infected early. 

Of course it won't matter as the season will be ended prematurely for all, anyway.

Very possible (I'd even say greater than 50%).  And given the wholly anticipated outbreaks here and there, I'm not sure why college football is so dead set on selecting CFP participants before Christmas.  If I were czar, I'd build in a 3-4 week buffer (for postponed games), then have your CFP and bowl selections, and then play those games.  Of course, at some point you have to say Game X is on Date Y and if a team is missing players due to Covid, so be it.  But I'm not sure why you'd lock yourself in to dates until absolutely necessary, though.  

Maybe they're worried about getting as much in before the New Year, for school attendance purposes, but still seems unduly restrictive to me.  Maybe TV demanded certain dates for games (but between moving the dates and not having the games, I would think TV would select the former).
