Most will probably be fine. But some will not. How many people get it will dictate how many end up with problems. And of course these folks play a game with well known concussion risks. So I'm sure the number skipping for health reasons will be low in any case.
So, the story is, some got real sick but recovered. And there may be some “long term effects”. May be. Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t bronchitis scar lungs a bit. Isn’t that a “long term effect”. Pneumonia definitely does. PEDS have long term effects. Concussions have long term effects. Drinking. Sex. Heck, living has long term effects. Perhaps we should just stayed locked in our rooms.....
