[Mick]

Most incredible run was late 50's thru early '70's.

McCovey, Cepeda, Marichal, Perry, White, Brandt, Cardenal, Pagan, Hart, Haller, the Alou's, Mota, Foster, Goodson, Kingman, Speier, Kirkland, Wagner, Maddox, Matthews, others.

And still no WC and only one pennant.

1968 was probably their best draft.  They picked Foster, Maddox and Matthews in the first three picks, all southern california outfielders.  All gone within a decade.
