Inside the office, desks should be six feet apart. If that isn’t possible, employers should consider erecting plastic shields around desks.
Seating should be barred in common areas.
And face coverings should be worn at all times.
These are among sweeping new recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the safest way for American employers reopening their offices to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Of course I have continued to work at the office. We can't always be 6 feet away from others but everyone is in the habit of keeping as much distance as possible. I always wear a mask unless I am speaking on the phone. Generally I can go into a private office to do that. I wear an N95 at work. I am the only employee in the Pediatric Department over 60 years old at both of my jobs, so they let me use their N95's as needed. I have not yet seen a kid with a positive C-19 screen. Possibly there have been some false negatives. I have seen some serious stuff, like new onset leukemia, new onset diabetes type I, serious burns and lacerations, etc. There are still "normal" bad things to contend with. The adult medicine people are seeing C-19 pretty frequently. This is a strange virus.
