California may not have sent new coronavirus patients to nursing homes but leaving coronavirus patients in nursing homes was done. For example, a Contra Costa County Health Services press release says:
The other 22 were left in the nursing home.
Quote:CCHS tested all patients and staff Thursday. While results continue to return, 24 residents and three staff members have tested positive so far. Two residents who tested positive are receiving care at local hospitals.
