Update on my two "cases":  Relative who had symptoms recovered fine in a few days and was never able to get tested.  He said the sore throat was so bad breathing was difficult for a time--not the most common symptom, but I read a similar account a horrible sore throat from the virus somewhere else, so who knows.

Friend's girlfriend recovered in a couple of weeks.  She tested negative, but she had all the symptoms.  Articles like this one make me wonder how many of the negatives are actually positive: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/...ors-doubts.

I hope everyone else's friends/families/coworkers end up with similarly good outcomes.
