(Now there\'s a phrase that you don\'t hear too often in college football news)
Teejers on Bootleg took a contrarian position, Â arguing that had Masoli stayed at Oregon even if off the team, and then applied for a waiver while transferring to Mississippi, Â there would be no problem. Â So, why ding the kid now?
Don\'t know how to evaluate this argument. Â My initial reaction would be: Â but he didn\'t stay at Oregon, Â he transferred as quickly as he could find a school to take him. Â Key question: Â Did Masoli graduate from Oregon, or just leave with undergrad requirements yet to fulfill? Â Is he still finishing up undergrad courses and later will supposedly enroll in grad courses? Â Is Mississippi letting him take grad courses and undergrad simultaneously?
