Thought this site was apolitical, especially commenting on articles with sources such as this:
"The person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity did not have authorization to talk about the matter. The person did not have direct knowledge about why the decision to kill the language was made."
To me, the most important part is the advice itself. And interestingly, the advice that the elderly and high-risk should stay in and not travel has been echoed by the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which suggests that while the allegations about a coverup may not necessarily be supported, the substance of the advice allegedly covered up is good. (I'm guessing that Director's chain of command doesn't run through the White House, because the Surgeon General, whose chain of command does, said quite the opposite this morning: "Life can't stop."). Funny, it has in China. Then Korea. Now Italy...
I'm thankful my elderly relatives are (mostly) abiding by my admonitions and staying in for the next few weeks.
