Right, baseball, women's volleyball, and men's and women's basketball are the mandatory counters. I've got some hope that the men actually qualify for the tournament this year and get us something other than a goose egg!

And when Stanford men's hoops starts generating points, look for the scoring system to change yet again.   Looks like football might become a weak link, so maybe the next system will feature the required four as men's ice hockey, women's ice hockey, football, and bowling.

But will our sailing score offset USC's big gains in women's crew?
