You're seriously comparing Michigan fans to USC fans? Really?  Not even close.  I hope he chooses Stanford just for the sake of playing time.  I also obsessively follow Michigan football so I've heard both sides of the fence. Garnett has definitely soaked up Ann Arbor and the Big House and has friends going there.  I just hope he made some good friends on his last visit to the Farm.  It's going be hard to overcome the in-home visit from Hoke last when he's announcing on the 26th.

Michigan fans aren't ignoring comments from Garnett, nor are they worried about the recruiting battle between Stanford/Michigan. It isn't about which school is better, its about whats best for him. Michigan fans respect Stanford, as should Stanford fans. 

That being said, I still hope he chooses Stanford for the sake of the continued success of Stanford. Michigan already have a solid line coming in.
