I\'m speculating that the story was killed because it was so pedestrian.  Details of glazed Chilean Sea Bass, the club decor at Tao and people dancing.   Surely no one but a true insider could have gotten those details for us.

I guess it\'s great to be 25 and very rich and with a constant prospect of getting laid almost anytime,  but talk about a party where nothing much is happening.   The writer worked his time and not-so-racy experiences w/ James for all it was worth,  but...  well,  I\'d rather be sailing.  Sailing with Scarlet Johanssen maybe,  but sailing nonetheless.

Hard to tell whether it was spiked because it was so pedestrian or it made LeBron and his crew look like any other chuckleheaded 25 year olds with money.
