Andrew Luck was 8/10 for 90 yards and a TD against the 49ers in a 16-13 victory for the Colts. Luck effectively shredded Saleh's first string defense, picking on Witherspoon again and again to great success. Luck also rushed four times for 27 yards, having his best preseason game. Fun to watch.
Garroppolo, for those interested, was 9 of 19 for 135 yards. Four passes were dropped in the end zone or within two yards of it. Not as much fun to watch. Incidentally, Beathard (7/8, 83 yards) and Mullens (4/6, 62 yards) were considerably more effective than the $137 million man.
