My ideal Love per game usage pattern:

~ 20-25 rushes
~ 3-5 receptions

He can be used in play actions and draw defenses with motion to open up things for other guys.

Very good point. Often after a "fake" handoff, the running back is ignored. Do that with Love and you should be made to pay big time. I don't expect us to use Love as a receiver as much as we did CMac, but we should use him enough that it hurts the opponent if they don't ALLWAYS cover him. And for sure, he can outrun a linebacker. So, who do you cover him with?
