I'm interested to know how people feel about this game tonight. Who do you want to and who do you think will win? Personally, I'm ashamed to say I am ALMOST rooting for Kal. I really despised the computer love for the Big 12 this year and felt it may have hurt Stanford's NCG chances, Luck's Voldemort hopes, and the Pac-12's standing in the nation. Hence, I really want the Pac-12 to have a good showing against the Big 12 this bowl season, starting with Kal tonight.Â
And call me a masochist, but I do enjoy watching Texas fail the past few seasons and would love for it to continue. To me, it is unfair how a school's location and brand name essentially guarantees it a top 5 recruiting classes EVERY YEAR. Yet that makes it all the more inexplicable how the school is not a top 10-15 team every year. I suppose having an elite QB really does matter? Or maybe the coaches just aren't that good? I wonder how Stanford coaches, who've turned 3 star prospects like Decastro, Martin, and Fleener into All-Americans, would do with those types of athletes...
At the same time, it is Kal. So I certainly won't be disappointed if they lose.
