Senior Bowl is for players that hope to improve their draft position. I think the practices are as important, if not more, than the game. I think the Shrine game is similar. You don’t get marquis players anymore. I remember when Elway played in the Shrine game. That wouldn’t happen today.

Just wondering why players think it's worth the risk to play in the all-star games?  They are certainly meaningless by any standard. I would rather watch a player in a "real game" than an artificial environment.
