Shaw went from $2.2m in FY14 to $5m in FY15.Â
Tara was not in the FY14 document (so less than $1.1m, which was the salary of the 5th most compensated employee) to making almost $2.3m.
Someone loosened the purse strings. Both coaches deserve it as one of the top 5 coaches in their respective sports.
I wonder if Tara is the highest paid female coach in the country.

Do they list bonuses separately? I suspect purse strings are part of it, but it could be bonus payouts. I'd be really quite surprised if winning the Rose Bowl doesn't net Shaw a pretty penny, (though I guess that wasn't a particularly good season for Tara so I dunno).
