A better business analogy is a situation where you have an enthusiastic, motivated person who doesn't know a lot about the task at hand, and you also have someone who knows the task backwards and forwards, but isn't a hard charger. IF the bright, motivated person can do the job, you will probably get a better result and quicker. On the other hand, their lack of knowledge can lead to a disaster. The guy with the knowledge will get it done, but may take too long doing it. YMMV
As someone who leads an organization, my experience is if you give talented people a narrow focus and the opportunity to take the ball and run with it, far better outcomes occur than when you give less talented people with more experience, greater responsibility to do more things.

You are now *******. The one who can't do those things as well will do just fine running play 4 not-so-great but good enough.
I want to see Costello start too. But I understand why it may be a real good idea to have Chryst ready to go if they are taking away the underneath stuff. Without JJAW, we may have some issues no matter who starts, but we may need a bigger playbook than Costello has ATM. As I said, I expect Shaw will do it the other way around, but we shall see.
