That OSU mascot is scary as hell though....

Not as scary as the real thing.  Marshal Frank "Pistol Pete" Eaton was a force to be reckoned with.

During my time at OSU, a member of my fraternity (John Elway's fraternity as well) was always a Pistol Pete. It was a common sight to walk into someone's room and see that big head sitting there.  I've tried it on -- it's pretty heavy.

Never shot the guns, though . . .
