As a 49er fan get a jersey that says REID. Eric #35 for Niners; #8 his younger brother Justin for Stanford.
Both play really strong, aggressive Safety.Â
Brother Eric was All-Am out of LSU, and 1st Round draft choice for Niners. Played on LSU champ team, 2011.
Dad, Eric Sr, was NCAA Hurdles champ in 1987 -- with McCaffery blood lines in evidence, coaches love that heritage.
With Budda Baker (UW) graduated the all Pac12 slot at SS is open. Watch Reid. Under Akina this is his year to step up.
He takes chances, can get burned, but he loves to stuff the run. That is important to our 3-4 scheme with blitzes. Fill gaps.
