I hope that whichever path McNealy chooses, it makes him happy.
I think the criticism of his performance this past week as some harbinger of the future is unwarranted. Some courses match some players better than others. I think the greatest achievement in the PGA is the career grand slam - and the list of names is short (6) and familiar. Each of the different championships is a different test of your game. Maybe McNealy's game isn't well-suited to one or more of those, but it's probably very well-suited to others.
