The 15 team cut line just gives you another day to play.  The spot that matters is #8, and we have no chance to getting near it.

I understand, and am pessimistic based on how the team has played, but it's not an impossibility with 27 holes x 5 golfers. Teams have overcome these deficits many times, the problem is that the team has given no indication that it's playing with confidence or comfortable on this course. I guess I'm just an optimist, I don't like to declare defeat until it's certain.

... of course Stanford keeps dropping strokes on every hole on the back nine and probably won't make the cut.
