I think I know why you attributed the term "Door #1" to me.

Years ago, I put together a Stanford football glossary, explaining words and phrases that often were used on the Bootleg. One of the terms in my glossary was "Door #1," and I did refer to Monty Hall on "Let's Make a Deal." That probably is the story you had in mind. I wrote the glossary around 2005 and updated it a couple times. Here's a link to the 2012 edition --

So, although I believe Chad Walker coined the term "Door #1," I may have had a role in popularizing it.

[By the way, when I wrote the glossary, the links in the text all worked, but the links appear to have been lost when the Bootleg's software was updated. Also, the Bootleg's management made some unapproved edits to my glossary, so I blame them for the clunky parts!  :-) ]
