Four different mock drafts released in the last week have him going to the Patriots with the last pick of the first round (USA Today, Sports Illustrated Monday Morning QB, Draftwire and thebiglead.com.

The Patriots have been a popular mock destination for McCaffrey for probably a year now. The joke is that he just "seems" like a future Patriot due to Belichick's proclivity for white skill position players (Welker, Woodhead, Amendola, Edelman) but I suspect that does factor into the analysis on a real level.

Also versatility bumps you up Belichick's draft board in a way that I don't think is true of many other coaches. They've specifically said that they took Cyrus Jones earlier than most people expected because they thought he could return punts/kickoffs (that hasn't worked out so well, though).
