Everyone has goals. Someone might say a high school freshman who says he plans to go to Stanford is full of himself too.

Fair enough, but I believe Sarell said he plans to spend the next 4 years at Stanford, and that Stanford has been his "dream school since he was a little kid."  To me that has a much different feel than saying he plans to stay 3 or 4 years (with all that implies), but maybe I'm just an old grouch.
