I continue to be puzzled by the idea that Shaw is reluctant to play freshmen. Is there any data on this? Stanford's seen many true freshman play significant roles:

2016: Herbig
2015: Meeks, Love
2014: McCaffrey
2013: [not sure]
2012: Carter, Peat, Murphy
2011: Richards, Montgomery

So there are plenty of freshman who play at Stanford. Is this more...less... than other schools. I've got no idea! But we know plenty of freshmen play.

Next year I would expect a pretty decent number of Lund, St. Brown, Little, Parkinson, and (if they come) Wedington and Sarrel to play, and play a significant role.
