Now I'm recalling our last National Championship team in 2004. We started out the season playing hot and cold and struggling at times. We lost 6 matches in the first 2/3 of the season and it didn't look that hopeful. Then we had a big 5 set win against UCLA. But the 5 set win coming from 2 sets down against then #1 and undefeated UW seemed to turn the season around and we never lost again that year. We won the 5th set 20-18 - it was such a of exceedingly large proportions high!

This teams has a lot of similarities.

Very similar and I am hoping for the same outcome.  Stanford was seeded low that year and faced Florida, Wisconsin, Washington and Minnesota.  If Iʻm not mistaken, I believe Stanford was on the road for the entire tournament.
