CI, that depends on whether you think the Stanford defense is a legitimate and equal substitute for the LSU or Bama defenses.  Redrum, I have no doubt those LSU/Bama linemen pass my eye test, but you should at least give the Stanford linemen a chance to test themselves against such SEC talent before writing up LSU/Bama as the best teams in the nation by far and Stanford not belonging.  The Cardinal have had some rough games, but I think a (healthy) Stanford would have a gambler's chance against either of the $EC teams, and that's all that any of us could ask for.
