Oy.Â That never works...I've seen a similar situation (but not on special teams) where a player also claimed that he didn't hear the whistle.Â It was an OU defensive player who put a heck of a hit on Colt McCoy...of course he wouldn't have heard a whistle.Â Lots of plausible deniability.
