When Owusu was healthy in 2009, I seem to recall Stanford elected to receive fairly often.

Against Colorado Stanford was in line to receive the ball at the start of the game too.  I think Mr. Willingham liked to defer, but JH and Shaw have been willing to receive if the returners are healthy.
