Touching advice from Bruce, and an honest self-assessment from Hart. Imagine a 50-year veteran coach coming to the realization that he wasn't measuring up to his standards. The team will miss him, but the program will endure his departure. Someone else, perhaps the next Randy Hart, will take Hart's place and spend years molding a team of men from raw high school talent. It may indeed be time for Hart to sit back, rest on his laurels, and enjoy the ride. We have been lucky to have him as a coach. I hope he continues to advise our coaching staff if possible. Fifty years of experience is a treasure trove worth mining.
