...I omitted the part where-- very good friend though he is-- I still mostly tuned him out because I was taking in the catastrophe as a whole and didn't have time or focus to fact-check him.  He watched, I didn't. My comment was that even my critical friend became a believer in Martinez.  None of my comments were directed at #3 one way or the other.
