The ONLY reason Ca.l did the facility renovations are these:
1. CMS was a legal liability and presented a cool engineering project to work on
2. The SAHPC is used for 14 different sports, not just football (no way they spend that scratch on a football-only facility)
Most Ca.l fans gag on the notion of "3-9/95" as it is now referred to, but there are in fact a handful or large and influential donors who really do believe this.
