Sure, that 2010 team had some nice pieces that Harbaugh inherited.  But it's a bit silly to say he inherited the "best cornerback in the NFL" when, in his final year of eligibility, Sherman wasn't even considered one of the best corners in the Pac-10.  Carroll and his staff did the most to develop Sherman into the kind of player he is today, not Harbaugh, and most certainly not Harris - who only ended up coaching Sherman for one season.
