I predicted that CMac would someday regret his Sun Bowl decision. I thought that day would be after his playing career, but his quote today makes me think he is already regretting it.

On a national level, he got a ton of negative publicity (Stanford fans were much more understanding of his decision than the general public) and the number one question he gets asked about at the combine is that decision. I don't think his decision played out like he planned, and he probably wishes that he showed up for his final 3 practices and final game with his college.
